Ashley and Tim {NC Portrait Photography}

I love heading to downtown Greensboro for portraits.  There’s so much diversity in such a tiny area, that it makes sessions really interesting and fun for me.  So when Ashley and Tim told me they wanted to go downtown for their engagement session, I was excited.  And what a morning we had!  It was a beautiful day, and Ashely and Tim were happy to go anywhere I could think of.  And believe me, I took full advantage of it — we went to all of my favorite little spots, and had such a fun time together.

Kelsey {High School Senior Portraits}

I absolutely love high school seniors!  They’re fun, incredibly energetic, and completely open to any and all ideas for their pictures.  Kelsey was all of this, plus an awesome subject to photograph.  And how could she not be with that flawless skin and amazing smile, not to mention her fabulous personality?  We had such a great time running around downtown Greensboro that I could have spent all afternoon taking pictures of her, but even the most energetic of us need to rest after a while.

Welcome to the World, Evelyn! {Newborn Baby Portraits}

Last year I was lucky enough to meet Carla, who is a fabulous hair and make-up artist here in North Carolina, and whose friendship I adore. She often creates flawless looks for my clients, and my job is always infinitely easier because she just makes everyone look so amazing.  When I learned I’d have the chance to photograph the newest addition to her family, I was stoked.  Little Evelyn is a gorgeous little angel, but I don’t think she’ll be so small for very long.  She spent our afternoon together eating – yes, the entire time.  But we were able to get a few precious images in-between her meals.

Whitney and Ryan {Charlotte Engagement Portraits}

Even before we had decided on a place for their engagement portraits, I was looking forward to Whitney and Ryan’s session.  They’re such a fun, relaxed couple; and their taste definitely runs toward shabby chic, which I, of course, adore.  I love crumbling buildings and rusted trucks, and I certainly lucked out with their family’s farm in Charlotte.  Throw in Whitney’s flare for clothing and accessories, not to mention the cutest little teacup dog in a tiny coat, and you have everything you need for my idea of a fun afternoon.  Plus, autumn in North Carolina is my absolute favorite time of year for photographs.  All in all, I couldn’t have asked for more.
