Lindsey {Wilmington Beach Photography} Photographed by Renee

Lindsey is one of my very best friends, and I was thrilled when she asked to do a portrait session with me!  She’s a Wilmington, North Carolina girl, so what better place for her session than at the beach?  We’re both very spontaneous, so she grabbed some clothes, I grabbed my camera and we went for a quick drive to Fort Fisher.  And what a day we had!  More of Lindsey’s portraits to come.   ~ Renee

Jessica and Brock {Greensboro Maternity Photography}

This spring, Jessica and Brock contacted me because they were expecting their first child and wanted to document this amazing time.  This is something that they’ve been planning for quite a while — they’ve known her name for eight years now.  And they asked me to help them remember this moment in their lives.  Just typing that feels so humbling.  It makes me happier than I can say to see and share such special events with my clients.   I love getting to meet them and hear their stories, be invited into their lives.  I love the friendships I have with them, and the fact that I get to see them throughout the years as their families grow.  In September, Jessica and Brock will come to my studio for little Isabella’s newborn portraits.  I’m so excited to see them again, and I just can’t wait to meet her.

Greensboro Newborn Portraits

We love our newborns, and we’re so excited about the baby photos we’re going to be taking over the next few months!  We’re now scheduling maternity and newborn sessions for this fall and winter.  Maternity sessions are photographed at the location of your choice, and newborn portraits are taken in our safe and warm studio in downtown Greensboro.  Call or email us if you’re expecting a new addition to your family and would like to schedule a session.  We’d love to hear from you!

Nicole and Jason {Greensboro Wedding Photography}

As many of you know, I limit the number of weddings I photograph every year so that I have the chance to get to know my couples and their families.  And while I didn’t have the chance to spend as much time with Jason and his family as I would have liked, I was fortunate enough to see Nicole and her family several times in the year before their wedding at Starmount Country Club.  They welcomed me into their beautiful home and garden for Nicole’s bridal session, and spent more than one afternoon talking and laughing with me at my studio.  I have loved the time I’ve spent with them, and I’m looking forward to seeing Nicole, Jason, and both of their families again soon.

Danielle and Mike {Charlotte Wedding Photography}

I have loved loved loved getting to know Danielle, Mike, and their families this past year more than I can express.  Danielle is so kind and quick to laugh and Mike is so laid-back and friendly, that I always feel right at home with them.  Their portrait sessions feel like outings with lifelong friends, and I’m a little sad when they’re finished because I have so much fun.  I knew without a doubt the moment I met them that I wanted to be the photographer for their wedding at Carrigan Farms.  But just like after their portrait sessions, I’m a little sad that it’s all over and I don’t get to hang out with them quite as often anymore.  I have treasured being a part of such an important day in their lives, and I hope to see them many more times over the coming years.
