Ashley and Justin {Winston Salem Wedding Photography}

I had the most difficult time choosing which images to post from Ashley and Justin’s wedding.  Ashley was beyond gorgeous in her wedding gown; Justin looked pretty stylish himself; and they couldn’t have picked a more beautiful venue for their reception, which was held at the home of Ashley’s family.  But beyond that, Ashley and Justin are two of the of the kindest, most fun people I’ve ever met; and I have loved getting to know them and their families.  Hundreds of their friends were there to celebrate their day, and they had exactly the incredible wedding they deserved.

Dana’s Bridal Session {Downtown Greensboro Portraits}

Dana was one of my gorgeous brides from this year, and now that her wedding is past, I can finally post a few of my favorite images from her bridal session.  She has an amazing sense of style and a wonderful sense of humor.  So, of course, photographing her is always a fantastic way to spend an afternoon.  Her session was made even more fun by her willingness to go wherever and do whatever was necessary to get beautiful images.  And let’s not forget those marvelous shoes!

Whitney and Luke {Charlotte Wedding Photography}

I’ve known Whitney and Luke for years now.  Whenever I see them out together, they’re always having so much fun.  And when they asked me to photograph their wedding, I knew it was going to be a wonderful party.  Their friends and family are really the nicest people, and it’s impossible to spend a day with them without laughing the entire time.  I especially loved this wedding because of how amazingly laid back everyone was from start to finish.  Whitney and Luke decided to see each other a few hours before the wedding, and they spent the afternoon sitting and chatting with everyone until the ceremony started.  It was a fabulous day, and we were honored to be trusted with capturing it.

Alexa, Brisa, and Keith {Greensboro Family Portraits}

Over the past year and a half, I’ve had the honor of photographing Alexa’s entire life, from Brisa’s maternity session, to Alexa’s newborn session six months ago.  I’ve been asked to photograph Alexa every six months until she’s 18 months old, and I look forward to each session. This fall, it was time for her six month portrait session, and we had the most beautiful morning to play.  I just loved her little dress and bow, and of course, her adorable smile she seems to wear constantly.  It was really important to me to capture the loving relationship between Alexa, Brisa, and Keith, and I had a wonderful morning with all three of them.

Welcome to the World, Brian Jr! {Winston Salem Baby Photography}

A short while back I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Brian Jr. He is such a sweet little bundle of joy.  I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time I was shooting him because he was so cute! He let us try all sorts of poses and slept almost the whole time, just waking long enough to get some precious yawns and those big inquiring eyes.  Thank you Brian, Jennifer and big brother Xavier for letting me photograph this delightful little man!  ~ Elise Honn
